The ability to create and enjoy music is a natural and biological trait inherent in all people. My Name is David Hillman and it's my pleasure to help you become the musical being you've always wanted to be. You'll be surprised to find out how much you already know about the simple elegant system that is music.

I have been playing the guitar for over 30 years and offering guitar lessons in the Seattle area since 1989. I've also taken hundreds and hundreds of private guitar and vocal lessons in my life and have a firm grasp on what it means to be both student and teacher. I always want my students to look forward to their lessons, even when they haven't practiced. Music should be fun and there is always something we can work on.

I design my guitar lessons around each individual student and strive to keep the lessons light and enjoyable while also aiming for a high standard of education. Whether you are looking to play for pleasure at home, around the campfire, or want to learn practical music theory for composition and/or improvisation, I have instruction programs for all levels and styles from beginner to advanced and from ages 7 years on up.

Hillman Guitar Instruction is conveniently located at 2412 Westlake Ave North on the western shore of Lake Union just north of Downtown Seattle, close to Queen Anne, Magnolia, Fremont, Ballard, Wallingford, and Capitol Hill. It's a quiet and comfy spot that's real easy to find with tons of FREE PARKING. I think you will love learning to play the guitar down by the water.

Right now I'm offering a SPRING SPECIAL for NEW STUDENTS: $75 for 4 half-hour lessons, a 38% discount. I am also offering discounts to students taking guitar lessons in the early afternoons. This will serve as motivation for you to fulfill your pledge to dust off that guitar in the closet and learn how to play it in 2014.

Hillman Guitar Instruction also offers Gift Certificates. Learn more here: Gift Certificate Order Page
